Description<\/strong><\/span>
\nTESSO RC-5 is an organic cement retarder which is effectively retard the setting time of cement slurries. The product is compatible with most cementing additives and is thermostable up to a temperature of 350oF. Beside its main function as cement retarder, application of TESSO RC-5 in cement slurries will give a lower viscosity, better water reducing effect and slightly better fluid loss control.<\/p>\n

Application<\/strong><\/span>
\nDepending on the applied slurry composition the required concentration of TESSO RC-5 has to be determined experimentally, however in general a dosage of 0.03 \u2013 0.3 gallon per sack cement usually sufficient to obtain a good retardation effects.<\/p>\n

TESSO RC-5 can be used either in fresh or salty water.<\/p>\n

Packing and Handling<\/span><\/strong>
\nTESSO RC-5 is packed in 55 US gallon plastic drum.<\/p>\n

Avoid contact with eyes and skin by wearing goggles and gloves. For skin contact wash with water and soap while eye contact flush eyes well with water for 15 minutes and call for medical attention.<\/p>\n
